Välkky has a positive impact

SITO (www.sito.com) has completed the first part of a study to determine the impact of installed Välkky products on drivers behaviour. After installing Välkky's in average 10% more drivers slow down when a pedestrian is crossing a crosswalk and in some cases up to 15% of the drivers slow down. The study was done at four crosswalks in Espoo during October-November. This study complements the earlier study (by Destia) that indicates that the average speed at a crosswalk with Välkky drops with 5%
